Thousands of cases of watery diarrhea have been linked to the parasite across the US this summer. Taylor Farms on Friday said that it was pulling iceberg lettuce from central Mexico "indefinitely." They found it. The US Food and Drug Administration has linked shredded iceberg lettuce supplied to Taco Bell restaurants in five states to an ongoing cyclosporiasis outbreak . The agency said shredded lettuce served at Taco Bell locations in Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, and West Virginia was responsible for 1,644 confirmed cyclosporiasis cases. The FDA pointed to a "single supplier of iceberg lettuce from Mexico."
